In response to you, the Blue Ridge Eco Shop has started a Blog. I know, I’m a little scared myself! This Blog is only as good as you make it. Submit topics, questions or product ideas and I’ll do the research–kind of like in the shop.
The idea of this blog is to be educational, green, interactive and short. We’re all busy, but are looking for ways to live a healthier lifestyle and ways to save the world. My commitment to you is to start with 3 new Blogs per week. Your commitment to me is to respond, discuss and submit ideas!

Thank you very much for this beautiful blog! I do think that it is vital that we save energy.
Did you know that one CFL bulb can save an amount of energy over its lifetime equivalent to driving a car from New York to Los Angeles? (Taken from Green Remodeling by David Johnston) There are so very many ways to conserve energy that we can teach our children. How many small changes can you think of that save an enormous amount of energy?
